Child Safety Seat Inspections

The Department of Health Education and Promotion aims to decrease child injury through child safety seat inspections. Both health educators are certified child passenger seat technicians. They have been through a 4 day rigorous training to learn how to properly install safety seats in vehicles.

Statistics show that 8 out of 10 safety seats are not installed properly (according to dshs.state.tx.us/saferiders). Make sure your child seat is installed properly by setting up an appointment with one of our health educators for a seat inspection.
