SB558 Certification

The Brazos County Health Department offers the SB558 certification through a test format.   Senate Bill 558 requires all childcare workers who work with children two and younger to have yearly training on Early Childhood Brain Development, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.  Please read the three documents below to study for the test. Then, call the Health Department to schedule an appointment to take the test. The test consists of 30 multiple choice and true/false questions. It should only take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.
Special on-location test appointments can be made for larger groups.
