Terrorism, Preparedness and Public Health: An Introduction - This is a course designed to introduce anyone to the world of terrorism. It includes information on biological, chemical, radiological and nuclear weapons. It also outlines needs that must be addressed in emergencies as well as what public health's new role is in emergency planning and response. This course grants 6 hours of CME/CHES and 7.2 hours of CNEs.

Preparedness and Community Response to Pandemics
Participants who engage in all lessons of the course and who successfully complete the exam (80% or higher within two tries) will be eligible for 6 hours CME/CHES or 7.2 hours CNE.

Radiological Emergency Response - This course, offered by FEMA, goes more in depth about a response to a radiological incident. This course grants 1 hour of CEUs.

North Carolina Center for Public Health Preparedness - The online trainings available on this website are numerous and come from all over the United States. Some offer CE's and others do not. Most of the online trainings are free of charge.

Recognizing and Responding to Bioterrorism and Other Public Health Emergencies - This training is web-based and offers 2.0 hours of CE hours for a fee of $15. If you do not need CE hours, the training is free.
